5 Palm Lines and Their Meaning and Importance
By Institute Of Vedic Astrology Sep 07 2021
People worldwide believe that their fate, no matter good, bad, or ugly, is hiding in between their hands. And, since the curiosity to get to know the unknown keeps you restless, the heart will always start to pump more blood when this topic arises in conversations.
Beliefs have been many, some supporting the study and some not, but; nevertheless, Palmistry is now popular worldwide among all walksof life. A way of seeing into a person's fate and personality is by reading the lines, shapes, and colors on their palms and fingers.
The question is what to look for when you are looking at a palm to study?
Read on and find out!
1. Love Line
This is the line which stretches across the hand directly under the fingers. The love line represents and reflects feelings, reactions, and emotional control in the matters of love. The longer and straighter; the better.
If the love line is short and straight, he/she has little interest in expressing love or romance. On the contrary, If the love line is long, he/she will probably be a great lover — sweet, understanding, caring and romantic.
2. Career Line (Money Line)
The career line or money line is the line that stretches from the wrist to the middle finger in a vertical fashion. It reflects one's fortune and career.
Nearly every person has a fate line. Beggar and billionaire both have a fate line. A beggar may have a good fate line, and a billionaire may not have a fate line. The absence of the fate line does not mean that a person may not be a rich person.
The influence of fate or money line is generally believed to be about 15% on real life.
3. Life Line — the Longer the Better
The line that extends around the thumb. It is usually in an arc; goes around the natural padding under the thumb joint on the palm.
The length of the life line has absolutely no relationship with how long one could live. It reflects one's health and physical vitality.
Also, it shows if one will have accidents or may be serious illnesses during their whole life.
If other lines of your palm are very clear and only the life line is broken, crossed, or absent, it's not a good sign. It indicates poor health throughout and short life. You are easy to get sick or have accidents very frequently.
4. Wisdom Line — the Clearer and Longer, the Better
The wisdom line usually starts between the index finger and thumb (below the love line and above the life line). It usually looks like it's dividing the palm in half and reflects a person's mentality and personality.
It represents all things mental – your intelligence, gut and intuition, the strength of your will, and it can even show how you receive and react to information.
5. Marriage Line
A short line above the love line is starting immediately under the little finger. It reflects one's romantic relationships and marriage along with successes and failures.
Some people have only one line in this place while the others have several lines. The number of lines doesn't mean anything. If you are reading a palm, just read the clearest one.
These five lines are the most important ones to read on anyone’s hand. This will answer most of the questions they have and also give them a clear idea of what they want out of their life, where they should be careful, and on what can they play their hand and try their luck with confidence.
