Vedas are the oldest scriptures in Hinduism and are texts that originated in ancient India. They are the original scriptures of Hindu teachings and contain spiritual knowledge encompassing all aspects of life. There are 4 Veda in all including Rig-Veda, Sam-Veda, Yajur-Veda and Atharva-Veda. Sthapatya Veda consists of the Vedic Vaastu that deals with construction process.

Thus, Vedic Vaastu is the Science of Construction that deals with entire process of construction. It consists of principles to be followed, right from selecting the land for the building to designing the interiors. The principles of Vedic Vaastu are based on Earth’s rotation and revolution, gravitational forces, solar and lunar energies, magnetism of Earth, etc. When these principles are followed, the people dwelling in these houses will feel peaceful and comfortable.
